Andrea Solarino is an Italian Jazz Guitarist based in London with over 30 years' experience performing and teaching.
He has played with many renowned Italian jazz musicians such as Fabrizio Bosso, Pietro Tonolo, Massimo Moriconi, Massimo Manzi, Massimo Morganti and he has performed with some London based important musicians such as Martin Speake, Mikele Montolli and Keith Waithe.
He has also performed in several important Jazz Festivals in Italy: in Rome, Turin, Terni, Matera, Ancona, Padua, to mention a few.
He graduated in Jazz Guitar at the Conservatory of Fermo (He has got a BMus Jazz Guitar Hons).
He has recorded 5 albums:
-two as a co-leader (Solarino/ Manzi quartet/quintet- Tell me the story and Qube Quartet- Waiting)
-and three as a side man (MP's Jazzy Bunch-Lazy Saturday, MP's Jazzy Bunch feat. Fabrizio Bosso- Do you agree? and Marco Tranchina & Smät Five- More than Ever).
-He also recently released the single "Dogor's Flight "as a co-leader of the Cloud Club with the Scottish bassist Craig MacFadyen featuring the great NY drummer Ari Hoenig.
He studied with John Parricelli, Gilad Hekselman, Chris Crocco, Greg Burk and Massimo Morganti.
